MEMBERSHIP

Membership in TAO is open to anyone interested in supporting the purpose and goals of the organization. If you are a telehealth service provider, an organization interested in providing telehealth services, a supplier of equipment, software or transport for telehealth service, a healthcare insurance provider or someone interested in improving healthcare through telecommunications, we hope you will consider joining us.

Membership Enrollment
There are three categories and three sub-categories of TAO Membership as described below:

Organizational Member  (Annual Fee of $300) This category of membership shall refer to any public or private organization that has an interest in Telehealth.  Organizational Membership shall entitle the organization to have an unlimited number of persons participating in TAO meetings and in discussions of critical issues. Organizational Membership entitles the member entity to 1 vote in the business of TAO.

  • OHN Members (Annual Fee of $100). This is a sub-category of TAO’s Organizational Member and is open to any organization that is currently a paid participant in Oregon Health Network (OHN).  This TAO sub-category presents an opportunity for duo membership that expands an organization’s commitment beyond a health network to include a commitment to telehealth policy, technical support and educational services. This sub- category of membership entitles the member entity to an unlimited number of persons participating in TAO meetings and in discussions, as well as 1 vote in the business of TAO.

Individual Member  (Annual Fee of $100) This category of membership shall refer to any individual who does not represent any organizational or business entity, but rather, represents only his/her personal interests and opinions. Each individual member shall be entitled to 1 vote in the business of TAO.

  • Students (Annual Fee of $25). This sub-category of individual membership encourages the participation of students in Oregon’s telehealth related mission. A student member is entitled to participate in all TAO meetings and discussions, as well as to 1 vote in the business of TAO.

Associate Member (Annual Fee of $500) This category of membership shall refer to a person or entity that represents any telecommunications or other telehealth related industry. Members in this category are encouraged to join all TAO meetings and activities and participate in discussions of critical issues.  This category shall have 1 vote in the business of the TAO.

  • OHN Industry Council Members (Annual Fee of $200). This is a sub-category of TAO’s Associate Member and is open to any organization that is currently active as a paid participant in OHN’s Industry Council.  This TAO sub-category presents an opportunity for duo membership that expands an organization’s commitment beyond a health network to include a commitment to telehealth policy, technical support and educational services. This sub-associate member category entitles the member entity to an unlimited number of persons participating in TAO meetings and in discussions, as well as 1 vote in the business of TAO.
