Policy

Policy issues have provided some the the biggest barriers to the deployment and growth of telehealth.  One of primary goals of TAO is to help change old policy or create new policy that will allow telehealth to become fully integrated into our healthcare system.  Reimbursement for services delivered telemedically and the credentialing and privileging of providers who practice telemedically are two of the dominant issues for today's telemedicine providers.  We have dedicated a page to each of them along with links and resources to other information you may find helpful.
