Join us for CTeL's Telehealth Brown Bag Webinar Monday, September 19th at 12:00 noon (EDT), entitled, “Telemedicine Privacy, Security, and Anti-Kick Back--What do You Need to Know to Avoid Tripping Up (Legally!)".
We've scheduled an exciting program with two of the telemedicine industry's experts, who will help fill in the blanks about privacy and security regulations and what you need to be aware of when operating your telemedicine program.
Hear it first hand from Rene Quashie, CTeL regulatory attorney and Tom Brewer, Project Director for the Northwest Regional Telehealth Resource Center, about these critical HIPAA anti-kick back issues:
What do you need to know about HIPAA rules if you are using a Smartphone device?
Why the often-asked question, "Is Skype HIPAA compliant?", is not the right question to ask.
When can your telemedicine program legally provide network equipment and when would you be looking at a legal problem?
